Here's what's changing, what isn't, and how to get started.

We've built ShiftNote for shift managers since 2007. As we added scheduling and more tools, we brought everything together under one name: ShiftForce. Your notes, schedules and history come with you. You'll start in a view that looks like the ShiftNote you know, and you can switch to the new look whenever you're ready.

How the move to ShiftForce works

  1. We move your account for you. Your notes, schedules, employees and settings come over automatically. There's nothing to install or re-enter. We'll email your account admins before it happens.

  3. It still looks like ShiftNote. You'll start in Legacy view, which keeps the ShiftNote layout and navigation your team already knows. The daily log and home screen look almost exactly the same.

  5. Try the new view when you're ready. Use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch to the new ShiftForce view, and switch back any time.

  7. Log in at login.shiftforce.com with the same username and password you use today.

FAQs about ShiftNote and ShiftForce

Yes. ShiftNote is now ShiftForce. It's the same company and the same team, and your data comes with you. ShiftForce brings the ShiftNote daily log and scheduling together in one platform for restaurants, hotels and other shift-based teams.

ShiftNote is now part of ShiftForce, so the login page has a new look. You'll see it the next time you log out on a computer or browser. Your username and password haven't changed, and you don't need to do anything.

Log in at login.shiftforce.com with the same username and password you use today, whether or not your company has moved to ShiftForce yet.

Update your bookmark to login.shiftforce.com. It works for everyone, whether your company has moved yet or not, so it's the only login link you'll need from now on.

Legacy view keeps the ShiftNote layout and navigation inside ShiftForce, so the daily log and home screen look almost the same as before. Each person can switch between Legacy view and the new ShiftForce view with the toggle in the top-right corner, and switch back any time. Legacy view is on the web; the ShiftForce mobile app uses the new view.

Yes. Your log history, schedules, employee information and settings carry over to ShiftForce. You won't need to re-enter anything.

We're moving customers over in stages, and we do the move for you. Your account admins will get an email from us before it happens. Until then nothing changes, and you can already log in at login.shiftforce.com.

No. After the move, everyone starts in Legacy view, which keeps the ShiftNote layout your team already knows. When you're ready, the toggle in the top-right corner switches to the new ShiftForce view. Our setup guides and free setup sessions can help with that too.

Yes, once your company moves. Download ShiftForce Mobile from the App Store or Google Play and log in with the same username and password. The app uses the new ShiftForce view, so it looks different from the ShiftNote app.

ShiftNote started as a digital logbook for shift notes. Over the years it grew into scheduling, announcements, checklists and more, so we named the whole platform ShiftForce, after our company.

No. Moving to ShiftForce doesn't change your pricing or billing cycle.

Yes. Your existing integrations carry over. If you connect ShiftNote to your POS or payroll, our team will confirm everything is working as part of your move.

Our system emails come from @shiftforce.com and @shiftnote.com. Ask your IT team to allow both domains so daily reports and notifications don't land in spam.
