2. Write your first entry
Start with one real note about today's shift: what happened, who called out, what needs attention next shift. It takes two minutes, and it's the habit everything else builds on.

3. Set up your team (account admins)
If you're setting up ShiftForce for your locations, do these once, in order:
- Add your managers. [Adding users →]

- Choose your log categories. Keep it to eight or fewer so entries are quick to file. [Changing daily log categories →]

4. Make it a daily habit (managers)
- Read in: check the log at the start of every shift.
- Run the shift: add notes as things happen.
- Hand off: close with a summary for the next manager.
