ShiftForce retrieves data from Toast through Toast’s 3rd party Vendor Access program using a secure data-sharing process. The integration is designed to pull your data into ShiftForce so your team can review reporting, trends, and performance without bouncing between systems all day.
Is the Toast integration included in every ShiftForce plan?
Our Toast POS integration is an add-on to your existing ShiftForce plan.
What is the cost of the Toast POS Integration?
The add-on is $30 per month per location. Typically, there is one-time fee of $125 per location for the first four locations, followed by a reduced rate of $50 for each additional location. We offer flexible pricing and volume discounts. Please note the prices listed here may be subject to change. When you book a setup session, we'll provide a customized quote for your business.
Is the Toast integration read-only?
Yes. The ShiftForce Toast POS integration is read-only. We do not push data back into Toast. That means your team can access reporting and insights in ShiftForce while keeping your Toast system untouched.
What Toast data can ShiftForce access?
Depending on your setup, ShiftForce can access orders, menu item selection details, modifier selection details, payments, cash entries and adjustments, the all items menu report, time entries, and accounting report data. This gives managers a more useful view of sales and labor information in one place.
How often does ShiftForce pull data from Toast?
ShiftForce retrieves data from the secure Toast data-sharing connection once daily. This makes it easier to keep managers aligned on reporting and performance without relying on manual exports or end-of-day email chains.
What do I need in Toast to get started?
To complete setup, you must be logged into Toast Web as a Toast Admin with the correct permissions. In some cases, your role will need access to Toast’s data export settings and SSH key setup before the integration can be enabled.
